can we disable that dumb missions timer?
FS22 was all about relaxing and taking all the time we want to finish the contracts it even big written in the steam store

but now in FS25 we have silly time limit that seems to always trigger the end while im playing on slower mode 15x

did put 5x and went afk a hour then already contract failed again due to expire

time limits are never any excitement and enjoyment we need asap the option to turn it back off nobody gains anything by beeing silly rushed on a big field only to find out the contract expired in the middle of finishing

Try making your months longer. If you change it to 7 days a month, the contracts spawn with 100's of hours to complete.

Game has a timer and you run timer so contracts blow the timer.

Isn't the answer to turn the timer down?

no its not
fs22 had no time limit so why now
ksyslo Nov 27, 2024 @ 8:59pm
They expire at the end of the month so if you raise the amount of days per month you get 24 more hours per day to complete them. Once you do all the contracts you want just skip forward to the next month.

There is no real "timer"... if you go afk for as long as it takes for the month to end, than that is your problem i think.
The game can not keep a grain harvest contract alive till december for you or anyone else.

Just use the "pause" button when you go afk for hours, easy fix.

True this. You can also get the same if you just flick to Realtime, do your contracts and then flip the month.

In every case, it's controllable. Seems silly for people to get upset over it.

Why I run on real time with 2 day months. Have not had one time where ran out of time on a contract.

i play real time, 1 day per month, and i have never had a contract expire. in fact, i have finished all the ones on the list and now i only have to pick up stones and cut or transport trees. and i still have hours left until the end of the day.

i play 5x - 15 x and 5 days per month i want do relaxing my work fields and afk when i need see slowly day and night switch but i do struggle twice on this timer expire

once seems as mention above new month make it expire which is dumb too

cant imagine how they do in multiplayer if one player decides to ruin the times to all other and ppl suddenly loose there contracts no fun at all we need atleast option to turn it off if we like

FS22 had no time limit dont make games worse in next

I like it this way better than fs22. In fs22 you had to restart the game to get more contacts to show up. And contracts expiring at the end of the month is not dumb. the fields have to be plowed and planted in the right season.

Im okay with contracts expiring at the end of the month if they're not taken, but they shouldn't expire if im flippin' working on it.

i agree with this

A contract should expire when it stops making sense. Harvesting grain in december because you been afk? I dont think it makes sense, contracts do expire, its not the games job to adjust your settings so you can finish a contract you take.
Zvitatzki Nov 28, 2024 @ 2:57am
i wish a mod will solve this
there is a really nice contract mod on the hub but i tried it there is the time only 3 hours time limit which forced me to play 1x but maybe he will update / improve this mod

can also be related to the month expire i did not know about that part in that moment

really just wish to do my work in peace without fingering on the time speed and worries to finish it fast enough
