Current best way to make money?
I'm new to this franchise and I have seen people especially YouTubers with so much money it's like 30m plus I don't know if it's exploits/console commands or just efficient grind

I have been grinding canola/sunflower oil for 4 years but it took me no where. I always have about 10-20k despite grinding most contracts I get each day. Why always broke? I invest it back into sunflower/canola oil related things

I'm tired of being broke in this game I want to get the big toys

Make sure you are paying your loan back if haven't. Also look at the crop prices and sell when high.

I gravitate towards soy and always have early game. There is an early cost yield benefit as you only need to buy a cheap planter and you can use other equipment supplied (depending on how you start).

Beets usually pay more but are more work intensive and need more equipment.

Of course, you can always cheat your save too.

Largest Polly tunnel, grow lettuce to start with. Add more tunnels, and install Auto water mod, Make Kimchi when you can afford the small factory.

Green houses ain't bad, i have been grinding some wood chips aswell, prices is pretty good in the winter time for wood chips.
But the youtubers you see with millions are most likely cheated in money.

If I'm being honest, I think it's their commentary on modern farming....

I'm pretty sure some of those YTers are flat out cheating on money.

You can make easy money from contracts. I'm making $ 200k in a day.

You can always use the Government Subsidy Mod if you want more money quickly

Some of the YTbers aren't currently playing a realistic or survival series due to lack of mods to facilitate a quality program. So, in their first plays they often just spawn into a game with couple mil to go farming. Don't ever use YTbers as a benchmark to have a good time. You wont. It's the same with other hobbies. I do mini painting and I've spent two years wondering why my stuff doesn't look the same as YTbers despite doing a comparable job. Turns out, production is key.

They definitely cheat for the sake of content.

Don't be afraid to take loan from the bank. The interest rate will not hurt you. The interest is 250 only for 100,000 loan a month. Just 1 small contract can cover the interest rate.

Use the loan money to buy lands.
If you want passive income, buy generators and greenhouses.

Don't focus on buying heavy equipments yet, because the bigger the equipment, the higher the repair cost.

Sell your crops at the right time when it's high.

Don't harvest when it's raining.

Don't take time-consuming and low reward contracts.

Don't leash expensive equipments
for small earning jobs

If you leash, make sure you'll finish the job within 1hr (in real time)
If you can't finish it, you'll have to pay the "per hour" price of that leashed equipment.

Don't bother yourself mulching if you don't have bigger lands yet.

Avoid weed to grow as soon as possible.

You say you are reinvesting back into 'related things' for your crops of choice and this is just like RL.

Early on money can be rather tight and what you have to spend after covering your expenses can be less than you would like. So having a long term plan, 5 and 10 years out, is a necessity (at least in RL).

That money you spend now to increase and strengthen your infrastructure, be it better equipment, facilities or even fields, will pay off in time.

You are really only a few harvests in so being able to cover your expenses as well as having some to reinvest is not bad.

Thank you, lot of good advice.
