Mulching and lime
So I have tried everything. I bought a mulcher, I plowed the field, I picket up the stones I mulched but it still says mulched. I tried to cultivate first and then mulch. Still says mulched. What am I doing wrong. Also I have small stripes on a field that needs lime but even if I spread lime this status wont change. Whats up with that?

Same here, lime does not work anymore
mulching done First! Then plow (if needed or activated), then you do the rest.

The "stripes with lime / no lime" is normal. As in IRL even.
Should be sorted with plowing, maybe cultivating.
Lime does nothing (grasfield) no visual effect on the field and on the map it still says "lime required"
lime needs to be applied before planting. mulch, plow or cultivate, fertilize, plant, fertilize again.
after first growth stage hoe or weed. wait till ready to harvest and get your crop in.

Not on grasfields. In the spring it's a matter of just applying a nice fresh layer of lime and your done. You don't plow grasfield unless you want extra work to do

I have a field that doesn't need plowing yet, but it does need lime. I mulched, then limed. The visual is there, so the field is all white. However, it still required lime. Should I cultivate first? That would be quite stupid, because I have a seeder that cultivates, so that would be a useless additional step. Maybe fertilize first and then lime? Looks broken to me.

EDIT: So I tried fertilizing first (which works) and then liming. That still has no effect (this time not visually either. Indeed I have to cultivate first, but that digs up stone!. So I have to buy a cultivator I don't need and do an otherwise unnecessary stone run (which cultivates again, so that is three times; doesn't make sense). This looks so broken to me!

Similar issue yesterday; field (used for wheat/barley/canola) needed liming (after harvest and mulching had happened, so ready for next sowing season) So I duly did, made it all nice and white... and ... yes, it still needed lime.

Ended up planting the field (using an all in one planter/cultivator/fertilizer machine) and making the white go away, and then liming it. It recognised it that time, and I could then get on with the second round of fertilzation.

I must say that I'm either going nuts (possible) or sometimes things work in different orders. I've only worked with grain so far (cause I'm on hard mode and everything is expensive) but since getting the all in one machine I always have to test whether I can fertilize/plant with that, and then run the big trailer over to do the second round, or the other way around, or whether I have to plant, leave a month, and do the second fertilize run with the trailer then... etc.

I ought to write it down and see whether I'm going mad or not.
