Plowing Contracts
Quick question, on a plowing contract do I have to use a plow or can I use other equipment that removes the needs plowed state like a sub soiler?

have not tried disc but subsoiler does register on contracts as a plow

Nope - you need a dedicated Plow. Subsoilers only remove the Needs Plowing State, but work like cultivators (texture and field state)

So I have now got conflicting info, someone on discord said a spader and sub soiler DO work in place of a plow. You say they don't. Will test and report back.

So a spader does not work. Says you dont have access to the field. Will try a sub soiler and report back

EDIT: neither sub soiler nor spader work both say you don't have access to the land on a plow contract.

wierd mine does but does not register the disc
