Precision farming not coming to fs25?

So i was told today that precision farming will not be coming to fs25, anyone else hear this rumor?....i was told this by a fairly popular youtuber who runs FS games on his channel this quote:
"PF is not coming to FS25, the contract with John Deere and the other companies that paid for it to come to FarmSim has expired"

is he full of ish?...would really suck if true, thats what im waitin for before i buy it

He´s not that wrong about that. I personally did not use pf.
The project was financed from 2020-2022 between JD, Giants and different schools as far as i know and those contracts have ran out, no current renewings we would know of.
But you never know what happens behind the curtains, pf for fs22 took over half a year before release so there is still a chance for the pf-fans that something might happen.

I really do hope it's clickbait what if -situation. There's been some nice improvements for FS25 so I really hope we don't get in to this "one step forward two steps back" kind of business. My wallet stays shut until PF arrives.

PF in 22 wasn't great, but variable rate was a nice touch. I never cared for soil sampling, so i always just purchased it. I wish I can remember FS19 mod, i only just started using it shortly before 22 came out.

I used it all time and loved it. I tested soil myself and all that. Like how it effect crops and felt realistic :-)

i really liked precision farming. since it reliase i only played that way. and i particularly liked that you could finally see on the minimap what you were doing. i don't know why they haven't included that feature in fs25. both pf and the minimap thing

Basically a game changer in FS19.
Took a little work and was expensive to "install", but you save so much money and time using PF. And you could see progress of every field work on minimap.
Moronic of GIANTS to not have PF as a part of main game.

I used it as well and enjoyed it. Though from what some have said its not coming back. It was a group effort with some colleges that made it possible. And they dont have contract to work together anymore. So not sure if it come back. Though why cant just update old version to work im not sure.

i had already read it in another thread, that pf was not going to come back, but the other thing i said about seeing on the minimap what you are doing, they could put it. pure farming has it and it is from 2018, i don't know why farming simulator never included this feature so useful in its saga. many times it is difficult to know if you have done it right. and when you pass some machines, sometimes you can't even see it in the terrain itself.

I agree, I am hoping that a mod brings it back as I dont think Giants is going to add minimap feature :-( One of the first things I thought of when saw FS25 was coming... Was for a return ofPumps and hoses, and Precision farming to return. When I learned PF was not returning i got very depressed lol

do you know if there is a mod in fs22 to see what you are doing on the field when it is not a pf game?
I've been playing with a friend in multiplayer on fs22, and we're playing without pf, and it's something I'd like to have.
