how to feed goats with a bale of grass

Have a bale of grass and move it to the animal pen dumping zone. Icon for this dumping zone should appear like a lifted trailer, usually in front of the feeding trough.

Can move bales using any vehicle, tho maybe use a front loader or forklift with a fork or bale spike for easier control. Pallet fork works. Can use also super strength if you use the mod for it.

I set the bale unloading zone but nothing happens

If it's a big bale, and it fills the trough, it will remain there until they eat, and eventually it will disappear.
