Grapes & Olives AI
Is There are way to get the AI to work fields that have Olives and Grapes in them?

I'm going for the achievements to sell olives and grapes, which is a ton of work, and it doesn't seem like the AI can harvest or prune, unless I'm missing something. Any help would be appreciated

AI helpers are unable to go in straight lines anymore because they are so "smart" and "improved", so you will need to do this yourself.

It is possible to use Steering Assist tho. The system will recognize the vines and make lines for you to follow... tho only for some implements. The pruning tool does not allow following steering assist lanes.

To work around this bug, you can attach some other tools useful for vine work. Maybe a cultivator or sprayer attached to rear and pruner to the front. You will be allowed to follow the lines now with the pruner because the presence of the other tool tells the system you can use GPS even if you do not intend to use it.

Warning tho.... I think maybe the yield of grapes and olives is bugged. It is very very low like 1/2 or 1/3 of how it should be with max yield bonus. Who knows tho if it will be fixed.

adding the sprayer to get lines for the pruner is a great idea! I do wish the yield was a little higher like you said, but im about 5000L away from the achievement at this point and idk if ill ever do grapes again after

Wait for Courseplay. Its under development and hopefully it want be too long for official releases.

Wait for Courseplay. Its under development and hopefully it want be too long for official releases.


Is courseplay the function to map out the AI's path? Or is it something entirely different

Has a bunch of functions but yes it does that. And it was one that let you "park" tractors in spots a s well.

Autodrive.
But you can do it with CP too. Both of them together is amazing.
Like you have a CP setup for your harvester, and a chaser (tractor/truck with auger wagon) sit and wait for Harvester is full, then runs off too collect and go back to start. Meanwhile you have a Autodrive course set with a "park" and "loading zone" (which would be where the "chaser" is parked), and a route too what ever place you want to deliver too.

the game uses pre-defined paths in the fields for ai pathfinding, grapes and olives are placed by hand so that means artificial stupidness cant see them.
