Mirror quality

Does anyone know what settings i have to change to increase the mirror quality in the games graffics

Settings/Display Settings/Advanced Graphics Settings/Settings/Max. Mirrors

Play around with that, and see what you like.

Do you happen to make and publish mods by chance? For this or other games? Ask because name seems familar.

Max mirrors tho affects only the number of mirror cameras rendered, does not affect reflection quality.

Unsure if there is a setting for mirror quality. Screenspace reflections setting should be for water and other shiny reflective things only, tho maybe try setting this higher and see if it helps.

Pretty sure the mirror quality is GPU dependant. Lack of ray tracing will make the mirrors look less impressive.

Not public, I did tinker a bit in 22 and now in 25, nothing public, and nothing major.

Not the case. I’m running it on 4090 + 7800x3D…… only bland colours and no textures of the fields. Pretty crap. Should be able to adjust them too. Makes it impossible to stay in cab view when working on the crops.

mirror quality is great but you gotta be in first person view in the cab of the vehicle IMO

Couple that with the lack of ANY sort of FFB and it’s quite a let down when trying to go full immersion with a wheel and stick setup.

you can change in cab view to be realistic, ive posted several screenshots of it actually

non of them looks any where near realistic.
Realistic is to sit in the tractor / truck and have full view of the mirrors with very little head moment.
its moronic you cant change the fov in cab or even move the seats in the game.

Wish the game was more like ATS where you can change resolution, quality, & render distance of mirrors.

The mirrors are in this game are useless... I just turn them all off.

Pretty much. The very few mirrors you can actually see without looking fully sideways, is still pretty much useless since you cant change the angle of them.
Even good old FS19 had a tiny mod for that. One would think GIANTS could manage too do what people do for free. God knows they add all kind of other useless cr*p to their games.
