Honey

Hey, I've placed 2 large bee hives and a pallet location, had the bees now a year in game and they aren't producing honey, Anyone any ideas or is this a bug?

Bees also do not produce in winter. Which makes sense but the output during the season is way to low.

Because Giants does NOT understand VOLUME! and BEE's! so my cousin who an actual bee keeper and uses large scale Apiaries like these large shelf ones she says that 1 of the apiary boxes would produce 16L of honey per month as they would hold 8 2.5L comb cells (0.5L per cell being the bees wax & comb structures them selves) there are 47 apiary shelves on the large rack so the REALISTIC calculation is as followes:

47 x 16 = 752L per month... how did Giants get to just 32L?... we need a mod to fix this over site to make bees REALISTIC and WORK LIKE BEES!

in fs22 i always put bees in the first things, because they were a help, but if to sell some honey you are going to need a year, then i don't think they are useful.

Yep, with a big beehive you'll literally swim in honey in 22, it needed a nerf, but they lowered too much. There are already a couple of bees mod, i think one came out a day or two the game released.

I just looked it up in-game there are no bees mods nor any other mods people keep talking about how are these mods getting around? is is it just content creators getting manual DL links for beta mods?

so crunched the numbers to produce honey like you did in FS 22 you'd need 33 LARGe bee hives and IF they counted as productions that just over half of your total placeable productions... wtf were giants doing?

I was sarcastic.
And i never said on internal modhub, there's a whole bigger world outside, it's not alll dangerous, and many modders prefer to release on their own page, itchio, or other aggregate because giants have narrow requisites and long time for approvation.

There is a sligtly yeld bonus for flowerry crops if there are bees around, never heard the opposite.

The more flowering crops such as Sunflowers you have near the hives, the more Honey. Simple :)
