Production Question
Is there a fee or loss when a production is set to "distributing" instead of manually delivering?

didnt tested it yet. in my notes from the 22nd it says:
- DIRECT sales = deduction ~35%
- AUTO deliveries = deduction 40% (from ALL factories & greenhouses)
>save + test it ? best regards

Thanks. I'll try to test later. Currently testing if the grain mill does concurrent production on multiple recipes or alternates between them.

youre welcome. in 22nd parallel production = yes. in my notes from the 22nd it says:
mill amount price
wheat (8900) flour (5>4) -20% (7120) price: +35%
barley (9600) flour (30>23) -23% (7360) price: +40%
oat (5700) flour (15>19) +27% (7220) price: +36%
sorgh. (8200) flour (15>16) +6% (8746) price: +41%
best regards

There is no fee or other penalty for automatic distributing to your productions. It is lossless teleportation of the output to the input of productions you own..

Automatic selling tho has fees and also maybe eventually crashes the market...

Great. I just finished some testing. The grain mill will produce multiple recipes at 100% production rate and auto-distributing had no loss in flour production. I did see some variance in production costs each month but couldn't pin it to a specific setting. It was probably due to other production buildings I missed and was mostly negligible.

Thanks for the help.

Do we need to set a destination for the distribution? I built one of those small processors and want to distribute my things to it. I see the "distribute" option in the production menu, but there's nowhere to select where I want it sent.

Is the game smart enough to know to send it to my processor, rather than the one across town?

Yep, if you don't own a factory you don't have the production line active, pretty simple.
If you have two same factories the goods are split.

Production Revamp mod (hope come soon) have options to set priorities or block some good inside the factories, so you can better micro manage.
