Vegetables like carrots and parsnip
Hey, with crops such as wheat and canola, we can store them in silos waiting for a better price, but what about carrots and parsnips, can we store them? Or do I just dump them on the ground and let them there until the month with the good price?

Dump them on the ground. You do not need storage. Just use a bucket on a loader to pick them up.

Can you keep them on the ground for several months until you get a good price to sell or do they root or something?

As far as I know, only things that can rot or go bad are crops that are left unharvested in the fields. You can dump all kinds of stuff on the ground, leave them there for years without any worry about them going bad. Does not affect their price, they will be in pristine condition forever.

That's great, and for a loader, do I need to get the universal bucket to be able to load them?

i use a high tip bucket before you buy check at the bottom it will tell you what the bucket can hold.

Are there Silos for these types of crops? It would be much easier to store them in silos like other crops

Check the icons at the shop. When shopping for loader buckets, trailers and any kind of equipment that can transport stuff, there's row of icons at the bottom. Those are the kinds of stuff it can be used for. Universal bucket will work on most of the loose stuff there is, can't promise that it's for everything since I can't remember from the top of my head, but that's what the icons are for :)

And there's also some conveyor belts and that big driveable machine that can pick up stuff from the ground. Haven't tested them in FS25, but I figure they are the same they were in FS22

The only thing in Vanilla/base game that can hold Root/vegetable type crops at least on Riverbend springs is the train silo, Check the prices tab for crop in question an if there is Goldcrest Valley as a sell option then the silo can hold it

Use one of the buildings in game with a bunker attached. There are several on the mods section that are perfect for dumping root crops in.

Also, if I accidentally, after I drop the harvest on the ground, drive my truck over them, are they getting destroyed? I play with crop destruction on but as far as I've seen, crop destruction is for fields not harvested yet, what about parsnips dumped on the ground?

No your vehicle just uses it as a ramp. The veggies are fine.

Thanks, was asking because I've seen they get deformed as the tractor drives over them, I thought they are getting destroyed lol
