How to fix the walking like on ice?
Hi,
Is there a way to fix the walking?
It feels like I'm walking on ice.
Run and stop an the character moves on several steps slowly getting slower.
This sucks and feels wrong somehow.
Is there ans setting to fix this?

I feel it's more realistic now. In real life, that's how it goes: when running, you need to slow down gradually and not just stop on the spot. But if you want it reverted back to the more arcade way of moving, your best bet is to wait for modders to do it.

Is it necessary in Farming sim so much "realism" in character movements?
When there are other bigger problems that should have been addressed years ago?
That's the real question.

It's usueless motion sickness inducing.

Yeah, they tried to increase realism but there is so much delay that i feel like a slightly drunk ice skater.

For me the delay from lifting off key to it stopping is pretty quick and inline with real movement. Let of and in half a second you come to a stop. Like it takes one more step then balances to stand.

In-game it's more of a jog, not sprinting. So when most people are jogging they're able to just stop. Unless they intentionally casually slow their pace to a stop. In-game since it feels like a jog, it feels like the character advances too far when stopping.

Jumping is horribly broken i say. For some reason we can only jump UP.. Jumping and moving forward is physics breaking how game sees it lmao All things must go up but NOT forWARD LOL

No problem with the starting & stopping part. Running is fine also. Not an outright sprint, just a realistic get-there-fast pace. It's just the way the character walks that annoys me. More of a shuffle-jog than a walk, as if the guy is trying to run but had been subjected to foot-binding as a child. As for jumping, yes that's silly. What was the thinking with that - do we need more time up in the air for some game reason that escapes me?

Try walking slowly in 3rd person with a gamepad stick. Looks hilarious... realism my ass. Nothing realistic in this game at all

They set a new standard for bad jumping animation after Oblivion.
