Fs25 Won't Launch Pc

Hi,
Installed the game, but it won't launch, just says launching them goes back to play, no errors shown.
Have googled and tried suggested fixes, I don't have any logs to check,
I only have an updater folder in the my games/fs25 folder.

Any ideas?

The only oddity is that it reverted my settings to default, so I had to change the resolution to 3440x1440 and 120GHz. Otherwise, even my actual saved career files still existed and were playable.


TLDR: Rename your Documents/My Games/ Farming Simulator 2025 folder as _OLD and start the game.

Deleting the Cache folder is always a good start when game is acting "funny".

After reading the log looks like maybe not enough ram? or your swap file is too small.

So just to be certain:

Your drivers are updated
You have an i5 6400 or a Ryzen 5 1400?
You have at least 16GB of ram? Min. requirements say 8GB, but windows 10/11 alone uses 3GB, so you'll need, at minimum, 12GB of ram.
You have at least a 1050TI?

If you answer no to any of these questions, no amount of troubleshooting will get the game to run.

But what if I have played the FS25 for 60+ hours, and now I have the problem - dosent that seem a bit wird???

This works!! Delete 2 folders and booted up

Dude, I can't thank you enough, I was panicking but deleting shader_cache and updater worked. I literally logged into my account, did the 2FA and everything on web just to say thank you.

Deleting shader_cache and updater folders worked for me. Thanks from page 2! This is the second time this happened and both happened after a crash. The first time I just bazooka'd all of it and started over.
