New AI sucks a**
its so weird. in fs22 u could just start anywhere on the field if there was something u missed or wanted to start at a diffrent point but here its just doing everything "wrong" and i cant get fieldwork to work to do carrots or stuff like that.

This IS Courseplay. At least a stripped down version of it. What we need now is Autodrive and Courseplay tool kits so we can make other changes and add functionality.

I think Fs25 is the biggest scam of 2024. They didnt even finish the character movements. Its totally unfinished game and there is almost nothing worth with new things.

I think those guys just fired skilled coders and they think that they can do stuffs with the codes generated by chatgpt. Dont waste your money with that ♥♥♥♥ game.

I don't care for the new ai. I thought headers would be a nice, but it's buggy. Half the time the helper menu says they'll do the headers first but they don't. Sometimes they just stop doing the headers and go to the middle, then finish the headers. They're slower than before. They don't turn around as efficiently (which is saying something) and if the corner is not either A. Perfectly square, or B. A Gentle curve, then they do it in a series of short, straight lines with a whole lot of forward and backward. It's not good. There's other issues with the field logic as well. I had hoped turning off the headers would put them into the old mode, but nope. They just do the center.

Transports have issues as well. They will take routes that have them drive into things, but because they are static pre-placed decoration objects, they just spin tires and it never notifies you it's stuck. Around the farmer's market on the US map is the worse spot. The narrow bridges also cause issues.

As far as the game as a whole, FS22 was my least played version whereas FS19 was my most. I already have more in this than I did FS22, so it is enough improved that for now I can deal with the ai issues.

Pathing is the biggest problem with AI. (Europe Map experience)
There is no (or *very* few predefined routes so AI takes the weirdest routes too avoid MAIN roads. They ALWAYS turn into the side-barriers of every damned bridge and it makes any vehicle having tools at front stuck.

Half the map is a constant" no route to target, r cant found any routes" Even when on a Straight -line it cant drive that one straight line due to "cant find any route".
Some delivery points cant be reached, even standing ~10M away from the drop spot.

AI *Always* picks the most narrow path too anything. Newer the path leading straight to the point.
Constantly getting stuck in traffic, because AI Traffic stop when there is something else on the road slightly wider than a car, then AI driver stops because "something is blocking AI#XX"
Randomly stops for "something blocking AI" when there is absolutely Nothing in front, back or to the sides of the AI.

Field work works for the most part ok. Yes, the AI do weird turn, that's simple because it been told to not turn outside the field.
And the (far too frequent" No field found, even when parked IN the field.

I finally had to turn off traffic. It's fundamental lack of ability to even follow road signs causing them to turn in front of me combined with the issues with the ai workers was just too much. I remember when they introduced traffic in 15 (I think it was) and I was so excited for it. It was limited to just a couple of main roads and very few vehicles. If I had known it was going to turn into this... :steamfacepalm:

THE AI is real drama too! This one just does what it takes and drives over everything. FS22's AI was much better! I mean the AI on the fields!! A real tragedy.

First off, every map has the compass inverted causing all manner of AI weirdness when travelling. Second learn the new AI systems. Once you understand them its very easy to work with and a lot more accurate than the old AI that used to miss massive chunks of a field or wander off in to a road and get stuck.

A.I. worker with plow got stuck after an hour of work on the edge of a big field, i unstuck it.

A.I. worker seem to got alzheimer and keep turning arround in the field for 30 mins. for the game telling me the worker is done.
i hope they fix it to do not get stuck or we can decide the default patern in the fields.

fs22 AI was not broken so why did they change it ? my AI last night drove in circles . I'm happy i did not pay full price and will mostly just play fs22 . also looking up equipment was way easier on FS22
