I change the console to true in game.xml but i still dont have console when i click the "~"

You need to change:

<controls>false</controls>

to:

<controls>true</controls>

Need to change the game.xml inside document, not inside the game folder like in previous versions.

I'm having the same issue have you been able to fix it I saw that in launch options you have to type -cheats but that also isn't working

I've been trying to get this to work with no luck, seems like it something from the steam version that isn't allowing access to the console commands.

What worked for me:

in Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2025

open "game.xml"

find <development>
and set <controls>true</controls>

add "-cheats" in the Steam Fs launch options.

The only way i got it to work was editing
Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2025 and steam/steamapps/common/FarmingSimulator2025.
I had to edit both game files for it to work.

Only one of them will enable the console, which is the one in the first path you showed, the other does nothing.
