New Holland CR11 Gold Edition missing

i preordered and double checked and steam does get this vehicle yet its not in game. once again steam screwed up a pre order launch bonus. where do we get our code from giants to fix this like last time?

Steam edition did not have New Holland skin as bonus, only if you bought game from Giants directly.

I was wondering this too. Pre-ordered along with the year 1 pass as that was supposed to include the gold CR-11 but I have not received it. No where did I see it say that it was only for those that ordered it directly from Giants.

Edit - On Giant's forum and it was only through the website. Looks like many misunderstood that if you ordered the year 1 pass, it was gifted with it no matter the platform but that was incorrect. oh well.

It showed that my gold edition was installed on the steam library page. It is not in game.

I've never seen it on the Steam page, only Giants.

that's called bad advertising especially since there have been expectations and no clarifications on differences between versions, which i assumed there weren't since there's no information on differences here.

additionally, that's why someone buys a season pass right... so you don't have this kind of additional DLC costs for the first year... unless it's a paid mod, which this isn't...
feels intentionally vague right now.

it should have been made clear within the steam store page itself this was not included at all. if this indeed was not included even with the full steam package, as a clarification. with a subtle hint it is included "elsewhere", since i don't think you can advertise your own store directly on steam. otherwise i buy a full package with year 1 pass that supposedly includes everything... and then i do not get everything as expected... naturally there's going to be questions.

you saying its on their forums.... why the hell would i visit their forums for, i'm a consumer right here on steam and should have all information at this location and not have to go to their platform to find any extra small print...

I bought the season pass both from Steam and from Microsoft. The DLC does not appear on Steam, but it does appear in the game I bought from Microsoft.

Unfortunately Giant, I will be returning this game, which I love very much, because I feel cheated.

same message for the game itself...
must contact Giants outside of steam via e-mail or otherwise which essentially means you're ship out of luck as that's essentially literally circumventing whatever steam can offer besides a refund.

whatever, i'll move on as to me... it is not worth the time or effort... overall this just feels wrong in all sorts of icky ways is all...

The dlc was only an exclusive free bonus skin dlc if you ordered at the Giants official website and only in the physical collector’s edition of the game. So no it is not available as a free dlc for any other digital or physical edition of the game.
The only preorder available everywhere was the Macdon Pack.
If you didn’t purchase the game how I said above then you will have to buy that dlc separately.

You do realize it's just a gold edition/skin for the New Holland CR11 combine correct?, and YES it is in game and on the Steam store for $.99 😉 ...I'm actually looking at it right now ..in game at the moment 😂 Id share screenshot but I'm on my new Legion Go at the moment and still trying to figure out how to take screenshots with it. It took me a few minutes to figure out where to find the harvester in the ingame store.
