Soil composition?

Is the soil testing not in the game anymore? I haven't see anything about that. I mean why would they take that out?

It was / is a mod, so you can't really say they removed it from game.
But AFAIK it has to do with licensing; GIANTS are simply not allowed to include it in FS25.

I think you mean Precision Farming?
That was the last 2 or 3 Versions always a mod from Giants itself and came after the release of the game.
They can't include it in the game because its part of a founded project from the EU and so Giants is not allowed to sell it. Therefore they release it as a Mod.
I think and hope it will come to FS25 too. Always enjoyed this mod.

We'll likely see it again, though. Precision farming was a pretty well liked and respected addon.

Ok, but why not put it in this version when it was well liked? I hate when devs do this. They make these games every 5 years and just start over every time.. It's pointless. Just add to and fix the previous game.

Hope they never add it because there will be more complaining they're just copying other mods and calling it their own.

As mentioned above the current agreement they have with the rights owner doesn't allow them to sell it with the game. Only to release it after the game is active and only as fdc (free downloadable content). They cannot obtain any direct monitory gain from it. Passive (increased sales of the game) sure. Unless they change or take over the project of Precision Farming you haft to wait.
