What is a 'Year 1 bundle'?

You'll get upcoming DLC for free. But honestly just buy the base game, you don't really save all that much, plus you might not like what the DLC is going to offer.

3 Packs + 1 Expansion is what it says but i've read that some of the DLCs from FS22 have been... less than stellar

You get 3 DLCs and the Expansion. Saves you money over buying them individually as they come out.

Year 1 bundle is a gamble by the purchaser on if Giants will release useful DLC that is worth the money or if it will be a bunch of useless junk that the purchaser will never use:

FS22 DLC (probably junk for most people)
- Antonio Carraro Pack - useless small tractors only good from grapes/olives that almost no one used
- Kubota Pack - other than the brand, duplicate equipment of stuff already in the game. Also included passenger ability which is only useful in multiplayer.
- Vermeer Pack - probably the best DLC as it includes some different equipment, but its hay equipment a fair number of people don't like
- Year 1 expansion - lots of forestry that most people don't like

FS19 DLC (probably middling for most people)
- Anderson - lots of hay equipment, but its hay equipment a fair number of people don't like
- John Deere - held back JD 9RX and cotton equipment, but few people like cotton
- Bourgault - large grain drills, most people liked and it's missing from FS25 and there is a plains and prairie DLC which will have similar equipment in FS25
- Year 1 expansion - Claas which most people liked

it's one pack of DLC's in a bundle for one year and one Price.
hence the title year one pass.

As long as there are mods to download and add to the game it is not needed. The ability to add mods is what made the game great for me.

After 22 - i am not falling for this twice.

I bought the "bundle/pass" and they ommited a TON of content now i agree if there is a "best before date" on the bundle ie content released up until X date then fine.

But that is NOT what they did content was released during and after and before and everywhere in between and it was 12 and half a dozen if it was included or not.

That is deceptive marketing and if they pull that stunt again a) they didn't learn and b) Tarkov should have taught ANYONE else.

And plenty that were - please don't excuse what they did. It's documented enough and plenty enough reviews reflected it.

They gave a "season pass" and ommited content from it and IF it is down to them not being GIANTS - BE TRANSPARENT ABOUT THAT

A simple clause " please note only content created by GIANTS applies" be honest - tell me, inform me, let me make a decision based off the FACTS not the bits you want me to know.

Because of what they did - a day one buyer who owns all previous DLC for FS and has loved the series - i do not trust them - i have no trust or faith in that year 1 bundle - i didn't get like this from nowhere? someone provoked me into feeling like i cannot trust the company anymore - it was THEM
