There are also large scale construction projects around town to complete by supplying the materials to fix them up.
Most players just want to farm so they ignore this aspect when showing off the game.
I understand that they have added some modules that need to be built, but I am talking from a campaign or story approach. I am referring to your original farm that needs to be repaired and painted, fences need fixing, animals need herding. Introduce something that is different from FS22 to make FS25 stand out from the crowd. Everyone can farm land up and down, but how about something a little different now and then?
That would be a different game then and they would loose a lot of thier playerbase if they go changing the formula too much to be something besides what it is and what they are known for.
People play this game to drive the machines and farm. If they wanted soemthing like Farmers Dynasty there are plenty of Dynasty type games out there already.
There is no real competition for Ginats at the moment so changing the forumula to comepte with other games wouldn't be wise.
Farmers Dynastie tried to be a bit more rpg style with all the smaller stuff to do but it more or less failed as this reduced the time people could spend doing fieldwork. And why would someone play a farming sim that want´s you to fix houses if you can have either a sim that concentrates on the core processes or can buy house flipper if he/she prefers to repair houses.
It is as it is.
Game doesn't need to be different in it's core just to add some extra build features. I'm also not asking it to be like a Dynasty game. I just want Giants to be open to a story like beginning as they show in their trailers, but never follow through. Keep the other stuff as it is, and that's fine and all, but don't just make a new release with better graphics, same equipment and same fieldwork on new maps.
