- Now, Zielonka is integrated in the base game

Which means players who bought the map in FS22 will now pay twice for the same map.

I get the appeal for Giant Software, breaking into the Asian market and all, why they would do a lackluster job on the US & EU maps.

But it's a bit blatant, is it?

Not paying double, just included in the base game now.

I think they did quite a detailed job on all 3 vanilla maps for 25.

Let me explain this to you, I think I have a revolutionary idea that you've never heard before. Are you ready?

How about, when making a "new game", you also make a... drumrolls "new map"!

This has several benefits. One of them is that the "new game" has "new content".

Why is this important? Well, the developer expects you to spend "new money" on this "new game".

Here is where things become strange:

Imagine you spent "old money" on the "old game", buying the Zielonka paid DLC map.

Now why would you spend "new money" on the "new game" to get old maps that you paid for before?

Do you see what I'm saying? One of those maps should be free. Either the old one or the new one (to those players who already bought it)

To your point:

Is the new base-game FS25 free? No it's not. It's more expensive than it was ever before!

So yes, people who already own Zielonka in FW22 get charged twice for the same map. Which is not a nice thing to do.

They have made two new maps, with new content for your new money you can choose to spend if you want. If you spent your old money on an old dlc in the previous cycle of game then your in luck cause somethings, like the old equipment and your old map is coming over to the new game with the new stuff. Isn't that exciting.

FS25 has 2 new maps and Zielonka from FS22. They always add a popular map from the previous edition in the next edition along with a new one or two.

I am happy Zielonka is coming in FS25, loved that map and played on it the most in FS22 and will play on it in FS25.

You can ask Steam for a Refund and keep playing FS22 until FS25 goes on sale.

It's not the same map, it's an FS25 map that will be played in fs25, with all of the new features of fs25. If you want a new map, you will be able to choose from hundreds of maps before long, or better yet, you can make your own. In this game you can be the developer, of your own map. You don't pay extra for a map, you pay extra because Giants makes the best farming simulator ever.
