How does it work with timing? Like I usually play seasonal 1 day = 1 month.
Who governs the time? Can you sleep?

The server admin governs the game settings, usually by a consensus of the players. Drew said in the initial post the plan is for 7 days/month on this server. That is mostly to give players all time to get things done throughout the week. Some people may not be able to play for days at a time, and you don't want a whole year passing during that time.

Thing is, during those off times when your waiting, if there isn't other work to be had on the server, like helping a fellow farmer, wood cutting, etc, then you can always go play SP or play on another server while waiting for new things to happen on this one.

And no, I don't think you can sleep because the server is moving at the same time for everyone. Farm servers are more like an idle game where you log in, do you thing, and then log off or chat with other players while you wait for more tasks to be needed. Its been several years since I played one, but this is how I remember it at least.
