Fun game, Waaaaay to easy for what it is.
Don't get me wrong, I like the game. Its fun and a nice twist on an old formula.

The problem is, the balancing is waaaaay to underscaled, to the point that there feels like there's not a lot of challenge.

Builds are rarely about real synergies and combos and more "how fast can you spam your spells"
There ARE a few interesting one, Such as "Mana on Minion Summon" which will cause the linked spell to originate from the summoned minion, but they're few and far between.

The end result is a game were I had most of the Root perks unlocked after only a few hours, and even managed to beat the Emperor after one try.

Hell, I didn't even KNOW the Equipment system was a thing, until AFTER I beat him and noticed the wardrobe.

The Branch Perks admittedly seem harder to unlock, being locked behind various tasks, but it could be argued that's an entirely different game.

As for what could be done about it? Honestly, that's a hard one.

Personally, I think the best option would be to categorize every spell into certain groups, and adjust their cooldowns accordingly, so that you can't just fiill the room with spells and win that way.
Things like;
Quick, low cost, spammy.
Heavy, hitting, but long cooldown.
Support modifying spells.

etc etc. But that's just me.

TL:DR - Fun game, but the balancing makes most of the REALLY interesting stuff that could have been done with this kind of system, kinda meaningless.

Thank you for your feedback. Some players felt our game was too difficult, which led us to add Easy Mode and No Rush Mode in the Settings menu. However, there are also players like you who found the game too easy. It's challenging to satisfy both sides.

We are considering adding ways to make the game more difficult for those seeking more severe challenges.

Meanwhile, you could continue increasing your Danger Level (some players went beyond 100 during Early Access days!) or try your builds against one of the infinite modes in the Architect Chamber. Thank you for playing Spell Disk!
