Hi Tharsis,
unfortunately it is not possible to save a multiplayer game at the moment. i cannot say if it will be technically possible in the future.
Hi there, is there any chance this is being revisited? The co-op games can take a really long time and my partner and I would love to be able to resume later, it's a big time commitment without saving.
Hello Sir Fancy, thank you for your feedback and your question. We are very pleased that you are enjoying the multiplayer. After the last feedback we thought about how it would be possible to save and continue a multiplayer game. We will probably have a solution for this as well. However, other "bigger" things are currently still in development, which is why we are not working on it right now. However, we will try to include it in the next updates in the summer.
Thank you and please stay in touch :)
Hey there, thanks for the reply! Very excited to hear it is being reconsidered. I understand there's more pressing updates first. Looking forward to the future!
Anyway looking forward to this when u have a job and 30 minutes available for free gaming time some times short pvp game is the only option, knowing u can save the co op with a friend for later, u get more options and as a result, more replayability :)
Hi and thanks again for the reminder, we also have it on the whishlist for the game. We'll have to see if we can still manage it. We are currently working on 2..3 big fishes for TerraScape and unfortunately we are very few devs. I'll bring it up again on Monday! :)
Could this be prioritized soon-ish? I'd really love to give this game a go with my friends.
We're working on it. It might take a little while because of a deep digging mechanic that needs to be tested.
..but, can you tell me more about the crash?
Yeah sure.
So my wife was building a lighthouse while I drew a new deck and suddenly everything kinda froze. I was still able to move camera and my mouse but the game did not respond to my button presses. Same on my wifes side. I dropped out of the match via esc menu. At least that was still possible. My wife was able to play on solo. It was big terra map (third option from top) in coop.
We had the same Issue, like you can play and then just like out of nowhere the game is ripped on my side, i cant do anything (I was the one who "hosted" it) and the other one just could play it solo - its frustrating :( we gave it a second try but same issue
Oh i saw it on this post - it has to do something with the lighthouse, because we had 2 games and my friend told me the game always crashed after he placed the Lighthouse
