Hello, and thank you for your question. There was a tutorial hint which told you that you can use the glossary on the left to find out possible combinations. Even combinations you don't know yet will be displayed there, if you only have the necessary buildings available, so click through the question marks. As soon as you have unlocked the right buildings, you will be shown all possible combinations with the buildings. one of them is the Manor Farm - I promise.
Thanks, for the tip anyway.
I promise you that we don't want to annoy anyone and will make every effort to make this as easy and uncomplicated as possible. But I can definitely see what the problem is. We'll think of something and improve it. The notifications are probably too inconspicuous.
The merged building process and display (it's on my right, not left, and haven't changed anything) works well enough, but a bit better understanding that you have to get the card from the DECK first to open the question mark would help...
What gets more frustrating is for later missions, where you have to RNG up the Ship Builder building, because it's not in the sets available for that mission. It leads to useless experimentation to confirm that one of those question marks isn't something you need to figure out yourself.
ah also nice feedback, ill take it to our design and balancing discusson on monday!
Thx for the Headsup... and yes this is counter intuitive as i thought aswell that i have to build the manor to progress
Hi Lowlight,
On the right-hand side of the screen you can open the Glossary (a tab with arrow), where you will find all the (discovered and undiscovered) merge recipes. But you can also click on recipes that you have not yet discovered ("?" icon) and you can already see what you need for them. If you have unlocked all the necessary buildings by the deck progress that are required for it, the complete recipe (the icon “?” is then highlighted in green) is also displayed there.
There is a bit of try and error involved, that's true, but you usually find the solutions very quickly.
The frustrating part is that this is not intuitive, plus you can get yourself locked out of available space to build certain buildings pretty quickly if you're not careful.
I restarted the scenario and set aside a very specific space for a Manor House now that I was armed with a guide and got the objective quickly. I think the game needs a remove tile card thrown in earlier for these scenarios at least. But maybe I'm missing the point. We'll see how the next couple scenarios go.
Thanks for the reply.
