Multiplayer

How do you start in multiplayer mode? We both purchased through steam - click multiplayer, one hosts and sets up and the other person can't see any lobbies at all - let alone limiting it to just friends. This is for relaxed and challenge boards.

Hi Tawse, you should see all not-private lobbies in the lobby screen. Please make sure that both of you are not invisible in steam to see the othery lobby.

Sometimes steam multiplayer isn't that accurate, maybe you need a few seconds and refreshs till you see a lobby.

Thank you for the reply! Neither of us were set to invisible - we'll give it another shot tomorrow and let you know how it goes. Fingers crossed!

Good day - we tried again and at first, their lobby showed up, I clicked to join and went to a "loading scene" indefinitely. The coin was spinning and background music playing but nothing ever happens. You can't exit out and must perform an End Task on TS.

Once you do that - the other person's lobby no longer shows up for joining even if they close Terrascape down and try to host a new multiplayer game. Additionally - if you try to host, they can't see your lobby either. It's almost as if the link between the two players is stuck in the first attempt at the multiplayer.

ok we illuminate your problem! Can you try to host a pubblic lobby (quick join and start if you dont want to play with orthers) and give me feedback.

On which version you playing TerraScape?

We had previously done public and "friends only" but this time we tried it and we got in!! We were able to complete the entire game as well. I'll be sure to let you know if it continues to be a problem next time we attempt to play!
