Random gameplay lag spikes when entering a Discord call.

Title. Dunno why this happened but it did for me. Minding my own business FCing a song then suddenly KA-POW, lag spike. I miss the note, cope and seethe, and restart the song. This happens every time. I had to leave my call entirely to fix the problem. Dunno what's the problem here but it's very very weird.
The same thing happens while streaming on Twitch as well! If there is a general fix to this, please let me know.
