Need a song to grind golden drum rolls (Mallets)
Hello,
is there a song at a specific difficulty that has many of them?
I am over 10 hours into the game and have only 20/100 for the achievement.
Also, I own the pass so it could be a song from it as well.
Thanks in advance!

im also wondering about this. As far as i saw, i dont see any mallets in 8 stars to 10. Mostly on easier difficulties

There might be even better songs, but Symphony No. 5/交響曲第五番「運命」on easy has two mallets within the first 10 notes. If you activate the "perfect" play option that makes the song end on your first miss, you can just miss the first note that comes after the second mallet and grind it out pretty quickly that way.

I checked and these are the normal balloon notes. Balloon notes do not count towards the achievement.

No, they are definitely mallets, I literally just grinded out the achievement myself. Make sure you're playing on easy/かんたん and in the actual regular taiko mode, other game modes might replace mallets with balloons. Might also have to be single player, idk

That's what I did yet they do not count for me despite being in the normal taiko mode.

I went to do Symphony No 5 on Easy. I got balloons at first, but disabling Shin-Uchi mode started giving me mallets.

No wonder they didn't appear for me. Thank you.

One more thing. Is it ok to restart from the Pause Menu or does the game need to go into the Results Screen?

Songs need to be finished in order for the achievements to register properly.

Thank you so much. I am going to try that out when I will return to the game today. :NB_RANGER_NOTE:
