Why are the control and graphics settings resetting each time I play?
Does anyone know how to stop the customised control and graphics settings from resetting all the time? PLEASE HELP!

I have much the same problem. It keeps resetting my controls original to optimum and switches anti aliasing off whenever I restart the game. It's highly annoying.

Anyone have a solution ?

Try to start Steam in Admin mode, see if that helps.

It doesn't make a difference.

Configuration files are stored in:
D:\Users\<user name>\Documents\NAMCO\ACAH

Check if they're actually there and that they are not set to Read-only.

And I guess, if anyone would to experiement - then I'd recommend setting Run as administrator for Ace Combat_AH.exe instead of Steam (although optimally - both should be run with administrators privileges).

Under Steam, I found the ACAH configuration .ini file in Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Ace Combat Assault Horizon\default_input.ini the file wasn't Read-only and all the key bindings are numeric; so I don't know which key is which :S Plus if I run the game as administrator, the game won't detect all of the 5 buttons on my Logitech Gaming Mouse. This is a problem experienced on any game I force to run as admin.

Nope. Not even the folders. But I indeed found .cfg file in the game location specifed above. Will do some experiments....

FOUND THE SOLUTION.... CREATE THEM! Go to My Documents and create the folder NAMCO then create the subfolder ACAH .... Make them both non-Read Only. The game creates the config files for you in those folders; for some reason, it wasn't creating the folders. Solved!

Let me know how it works.
