Low FPS! (Changed title for the people who can't handle it)

Ok, so I am posting this because I have now had this game for some time, I know its beta and they have been pushing out patch's for this game at a steady pace.

When I first got this game I was getting 9FPS will everything maxed out, now I'll list my PC specs below, but I have a above average PC, it is a gaming PC. Now I get a flat 60 FPS with Alien Isolation Max settings Max rez. I get about 60 FPS on any game I play with Max settings, some times I even force more out of the game with Nvidia Settings and other mods.

But now, I must say, after all this time, and looking at all options, including trying to do some mod work on the game itself to try to get more than 15 FPS with I have Rez - 1600/900 with everything set to medium and no AA or Dynamic anything with 5 AI cars, I can safly say that there is some massive memory ♥♥♥♥ issues coming from this game, that are just not working with some of my Hardware.

I have also tested this game on 1 format of my PC, so I cleaned my hole hard drive and installed it again on a fresh install to see if programs where bottlenecking it. Also ran Multi tests on all hardware to see if there was any bottlenecking (I do this once a week any way to make sure all my hardware is not being affected by programs because I always need my PC to operate well for the work I do on it).

Below is my PC Spec list of every bit of hardware I have in the PC, Just a word of warning to all people thinking of getting the game in its current state. People with lesser PC's than my own are getting 40-60FPS with everything on Max. So this is a Hardware to Software memory issue. Thing is, all my hardware is A grade and tested.

RAM: 32 Gig Corsair Vengeance
Motherboard: MSI X79A-GD45-PLUS

Razor Deathadder Mouse

If the game was playable it would be vary fun, I mean I played it for a good 20min in total and it looks like a blast, but I mean, how can you play at 9FPS? And I would have expected it to be fixed by now since its been almost a year since I have had this game give or take. Not a happy chappy. :/

Technically it's helpful that he listed his peripherals as there is a wheel that chokes on the FFB output and causes severe framerate issues.

He should not, however, be getting only 9 FPS with that setup. I get on average about 34.5 FPS, and at its minimum 23. The highest framerate I get is around 53 - and this was on Gravel with a LOT of things going on and graphics set to max and running at 1080p.

Sorry? I mean I number one, I copy and pasted it directly from my profile....and also peripherals can directly affect software and how it runs. I am not trying to "deliver" any content here, I am just trying to explane my view of this game so far from my expiriance and seeing if any one has the same problem with the same hardware/peripherals. Thats why when you run a dxdiag for a developer that wants your PC info they can check for USB devices among hardware etc. Because its can actually affect gameplay in some cases.

Sorry if you think that way but that is not what I am trying to do here, and why the hell would I want to show off this stuff, it isnt flash, simple cut and past.

Thanks for also jumping in there man. Yer see my friend has the same GFX card as yourself, he gets a nice frame rate as well. I don't think this is GFX related. It feels like a bottlenecking, but I cant find it. I been running tests while playing and I still cant find the problem area.

Is there a decent amount of people online to compete with. You say you have been playingthis for a while so i would assume you may know this. I have been wanting a demo derby game thats online like grid used to be. But every game I have bought has no online communiy to be matched up against.

I wish I could tell you man. I mean the community is active, but I havent even touched the MP of the game since I cant even get a good FPS on singleplayer! yet alown Multi.

Its a mad game! like its just vary vary fun! but as for my post above. It just dosent run on my PC, and my PC is gaming spec.

I just jumped into the game now to check for you any way, there are 7 match's atm, 1 is password locked. I am in Australia and they are all ping of 200ms+.

I find the netcode to be actually quite good. I've been frequently racing on servers in America and Europe where I've gotten anywhere between 200 and 350 ping and because it's not a twitch-based game like a first person shooter, the racing is actually quite stable and enjoyable.

Hope you find a solution to your problem. It sucks that your rig can't run it as desired. :(

Ah! good to hear the netcode works well....I hope with the next few patch's I get a fix for it.

50+ FPS maxed out @ 1080 with a slightly overclocked 660Ti here with i5 3570 @3.5GHz, no idea why is anyone having problems running this game.

How do you get the FPS to show ingame? I don't have any problems, I'm just curious. 3rd party programs just put random numbers on the screen.

Nvidia Shadow/Fraps (This softwere takes vary little memory when its just running and not capping gameplay) - loss of 1 frame at best with these apps on while playing high demand games, and also running System Monitor and Performance Monitor for all other monitors like RAM,CPU etc.

I also only use System Monitor for more stress testing than monitoring
