Telemetry and motion support
Hi Devs, Great game so far.

I was just wondering if you could add some telemetry and motion output in the final game.

I run a set of gauges and a digital dashboard as well as motion and tactile feedback on my rig and it would be awesome to have that feature in Next Car Game.

Here are some videos of my gauge so you can see what I mean.

I use 2 buttkickers now. One under my seat and the other on the board I have my pedals mounted on with 2 separate aftermarket amps. Ran a line from my sub for signal. Works good but now want the motion too maybe.

Telemetry which would work with a Next Level Racing v3 Motion Simulator would be an incredible selling feature.

Hell, add VR (if the engine supports it) and you'll have a virtual goldmine on your hands.

As it stands, it still looks fun though, but lacking the above two features it would feel pretty dead to me.

I've been reading this forum and have seen comments from the devs dating back two years stating that releasing telemetry data was in the works.
Any updates?
Will buy it once it is able to work with my NLRv3 motion simulator.
Any VR plans, or is that a pipe dream?

+1 on Telemetry please. Basic movement is all that is required - totally agree.

I've ended up just building my own DIY 2dof x-simulator seat mover.
Since there is no telemetry output in Wreckfest, and the currently avaiable motion plugin is outdated & no longer functional, I've resorted to using a joystick plugin in order to simulate some motion while driving.
While it doesn't have the full range of effects like impacts or terrain changes, when combined with Buttkickers it's actually quite enjoyable and adds to the immersion.
Well worth a try if your motion platform supports some form of x-input joystick emulation.

Just wanted to add my voice to the chorus asking for telemetry. Would love to hook this up to a motion simulator rig.

This is very important for me!

Same here, have a full motion rig and would love movement (at the risk of losing my lunch).

Wreckfest isn't a simulation, it don't need it

LOL!!!!
Simulation or not, it's still fun with motion.
More like YOU don't need it...but WE still want it.

bump

I can't be the only one who wishes SimHub or whatever you use for your transducer/s supported this. People with motion rigs must be losing their minds.

Still hoping that telemetry will be implemented a day or another, basshakers, motion, external dashboard that would be by far the funniest game to use on a full featured rig.

Any statements from the Devs ?
Would love to hear if my dream would become reality a day or another ;)
