Eligible vehicles?
On events that say "All Types" for eligible vehicles, why does it say that I don't have a vehicle for that event? and it won't let me enter the series at all. I'm missing where it describes what vehicles you can race in what event or something

Under the "Restrictions" section...

On the left, it says "owned" - the vehicles you own that are eligible for this race. Below that is "type" - which type of vehicles are allowed. Then over to the right is a letter ("A", "B", or "C"). This is the class of car which is allowed.

What about the ones that say "all types" but yet I don't have a car that I can drive in that event?

Is there a discord for wreckfest?

You buy one with the credits you've accumulated from winning previous events.

Do note that Vehicle Types and Vehicle Classes are two separate things. When an event says 'All Types', it means all non-special vehicle types. These would be: Full-Size, Mid-Size, Wagon, and Compact*.

*There's also Front-Wheel, Rear-Wheel, and All-Wheel Drive but this is denoted separately. You can tell which the vehicle is in its stats along the bottom of the screen when selecting a vehicle. There will be an arrow pointing in the direction of the vehicle's front and the four rectangles are the wheels. If you see greyed out wheels then those wheels do not spin when you hold the accelerator.

Note: There are some events that restrict you to Front-Wheel Drive vehicles. They're rare but they do exist in the career mode.

Vehicle classes, on the other hand, are just a rating (D, C, B, and A) for the vehicle that is based on engine power vs. vehicle weight. This why adding or removing armor on a vehicle impacts its lass and why upgrading, or downgrading, its various internal parts will also affect its class rating.

If you have no eligible vehicles for a 'All Types' event then you should look at the class rating. With class ratings in events, if says something like 'C Max' then the maximum class rating your vehicle can be is C class. Anything at or lower is permitted. If it doesn't mention a max rating and just shows a class letter then you can only enter with a vehicle of that class.

It was the regional flag that was throwing me off. Thanks for your input, I've got it figured out now.

Oh, right, there's also that. XD

Now I'm reminded that there's no events where you're locked to Asian manufactured vehicles. Just US and European.
