Randomly ignores keyboard presses
With any car, on any race I can be doing just fine and suddenly the game starts to ignore the key I HAD pressed. For example: the acceleration. The car will just suddenly idle down to stop because it just stopped responding to my keyboard. Same with turning. I can be going around a corner and suddenly the car just goes straight, even though I never lifted a finger.
Very frustrating. I love the game, but this technical glitch is almost enough to make me uninstall it.

You got other KB to do a test? Could be your KB.

I've mapped the keys to different keys to same results. I find it hard to believe all my keys are cutting out. But that is an idea...

You could also try a different USB port. With your keyboard connected, try lightly poking the USB plug and see if the keyboard lights flicker.

The keyboard can't handle many keystrokes, if i use up arrow and left or right arrow key and at the same time i try to use Shift to increase gears, it won't register the gears.

Not the keyboard. Tried a different gaming keyboard and a mechanical one. Same issue: Randomly starts ignoring keys being pressed so you have to release them and re-press for them to be acknowledged.
I've even gone through all my windows systems settings and made sure usb ports aren't being put to sleep or idled. I have system mechanic set my system up for gaming...I'm really leaning towards a bug in the game.

There are a few threads reporting a similar issue, and with mechanical keyboards so it would seem there is more to it then just the limitations of crappy keyboards.

So far, it seems the fix is to buy a gamepad or a wheel....

No worries. I'm uninstalling. Such a simple fix and yet the problem is still there. As I said, I've tried gaming keyboards (2 different and with different keymaps on each) and a mechanical one. Same issue on all 3.

Hey smartass, because I'm having trouble with a keyboard response from a game, means I don't know about other peripherals? What a stupid assumption. How about I try one. Third graders begin their forum posts with the letters: Omg.

I've tried both usb 2.0 and usb 3.0. Different keyboards means different usb cables.

Which means no else can have one? Not sure what your statement does to help solve my issue, but thanks for your tidbit of information.

I have same problem with mechanical keyboard. So frustrating...

And I dont want to use wheel or gamepad (have both). Its cooler to be one of the top players in weekly tournaments with keyboard :winter2019cooldog:

KEYBOARD (BINDS) STOPS WORKING IN MIDDLE OF THE RACE
Yeah... Theres thousands of people with the same issue.

The car suddenly stops accelerating and I have to press and hold the key again. The game stops detecting the key pressed and the issue happens also when I'm doing a corner.

Noooo.... Is not a Keyboard problem. I have an Anti-Ghost keyboard, all of my USB ports are working fine and this issue only happens in this game.

The DEV's are not responding, nobody! And nobody knows what to do to fix it. If there's someone who knows how to fix and would like to help us, I'll be very grateful.

Otherwise... I have less than 2 hours played and I'll ask my money back.
Guys... This is so frustrating.
