Remove time limit to choose car what a stupid idea

I modded my car in a C lobby just enough to make it B class without realizing it quick enough, 30 second timer hits and I couldnt mod or change my damn car and got kicked from the server because of it, pretty awful design

But some players don't want to wait around, so go with a quick count down timer. That the server operator's call on what count down timer to use: 30, 60 or 90

Bugbear Devs have given us many options in setting up a Wreckfest server to our liking. :)

Im talking about locking you out for the last 30 seconds, 90% not everyone is ready up so the at clock counts down anyways

But game need to lock down what cars to load and give you 10 secs more to tune your car too.

The last 25 seconds of lobby countdown is when the server starts loading players and the settings for next map. Nothing can be changed at that point, including server setting variables for the next map

That's just the way it is, people would have to wait longer for you and patience isn't a forte of most people in 2024. Sorry, just suck it up as you're putting your own problem in front of others and you're only equally as important.

Has it effected me? : Yes - Do I want it to change? : No, because I understand why the times are set as they are. What could have made it better was profiles so you could have different class line-ups with the same cars for different servers but the game is that old now and I think many have asked for this so I don't think it will ever happen.

One thing you can do to not lose your place in the server is make sure you have the appropriate class selected for the beginning of the race, pull to the side at the start and retire from the race then you have a few minutes to set up your car.
