Multiplayer trouble

When I try to join a server, I get an error that says client data or version does not match servers. I run it off of epic games, does it need to be run off steam?

With Epic version of Wreckfest, you see servers online to join? Would think online pretty slow.

With Steam version of Wreckfest, there usually plenty of servers to join. But Steam WF servers should not show up on on Epic WF server list? Or am I wrong 7ukester?

The update is still in the pipeline but it has been delayed for reasons beyond our control and I'm sorry to say that's all I know.

I do see different servers and when I try to join them I get the error message I originally posted. I might just have to get it on steam and play but that is another 30 bucks so I dont know if I want to spend 60 on a game that might not work. I love the game it just stinks that I havent been able to play online at all.

Could you post a pic of your WF server list? Or type the server names in a post? I be curious if they are servers we see with Steam WF. Like the Poop servers.

May be a few months before Steam Wreckfest goes on sale again for $12. You miss the 2 holiday Steam sales.

Now that THQN does the online server list, do Epic players see all the Steam servers? Or just online servers created by Epic players?

Hi Purple, hope you're doing great. I think they see all servers (even Steam ones) but can't join before both Epic and Steam game versions are updated (so that data will match).

So 7ukester, it would seem you going have to scroll the whole WF server list and see if there any Epic servers you can join. The white 3 bars ones.

And some day, maybe Bugbear can finally release the PC update that going make all PC versions of Wreckfest compatible online.
