dualshock 4 issue with next car game

Next car game recognises my ds4 as 2 controllers.. removing ds4windows didnt help so i was wondering if theres a way to switch off the creepy controller recognition system that existes on the game.. it is not playable for me like a year or more

Probably make it much easier for yourself in the future if you buy a similar controller made specifically for PC

I dont belive im the only person who uses ds4 here) just hoping someone found solution.
ds4 is the most ideal controller in my hands and is ok on any game that has a controller support, exept this one (it did well untill update like 1 or 1.5 year ago) im just trying to find a way to turn that ingame controller recognition thing or whatever it is off...

just use a software like input mapper or ScpServer which makes the DS4 look like an X360 on your PC, l use an DS4 with an software and it works perfectly.

Dualshock controllers are known not to be very friendly to computers that are not Playstations. Try using an Xbox or a custom-made controller.

I found a fix for this recently. From a friend:
"GOT IT WORKING! DS4 needs to be off otherwise the game thinks your controller is working twice, once with DS4 and once with the game's own controller set up thingy. :)"

Ah just saw you got it figured out. Cool. Yeah, just pick one or the other mode and see what works for you.

Shame Microsoft never released a xbox controller with level analog sticks lol.

I gave up trying to make my PS4 controller work on my PC and bought a cheapo X-Box controller. Problem solved.

i got one of these, it makes windows think your DS4 is an Xbox controller withought DS4 windows, its just plug, update firmware, and play. works on almost every game ive played

If you are using a Ps4 controller with Wreckfest you can plug in the controller before playing, start the game, and it should recognize the controller. Had it work on the start menu so far.
