Reverse

Hi I'm having a problem in game I can't reverse. The normal hold brake down doesn't work in career mode tournament and online, but works in custom mode. I haven't changed any settings and cant find a specific button in the options for reverse unless its for manual and I use auto transmission.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Reverse was working fine before today? If use KB, does reverse work?

What pad or wheel are you using?

Hi I'm using standard Xbox pad for PC. All Modes now don't have Reverse in Auto Transmission so my work around is to change to manual before a race I use it on Bowls and courses with lots of turns.

Hmmm, try this, Go here to Wreckfest save folder: \Steam\userdata\3795*****\228380\local\wreckfest

Make a copy of the \wreckfest folder, then delete the \controllers folder. When you start Wreckfest back up, game will make a new \controllers folder. Then setup your Xbox pad. It should be in a tab next to the KB tab.

Unfortunately that didn't work so I will continue to switch between auto and manual at the start of each race.

Reverse did not work for me "UNTIL" i figured its the settings. Go in advanced settings, there are settings in there, for steering, throtle, as well as braking. At bottom of that screen you can test them as well. I had to lower the braking i think it was at 100 i brought it way down so when i pull on little stick on my gamepad it works the same as gas or turning.

Very strange setting one would think if anything you have to make more force on braking but no, here, its opposite.
Another setting thats wierd and not necessary is, the camera shaking, if you find it, lower it as much as you like ( i tried 25% yesterday but will try 0 today) it just makes it hard to see, so i find it useless. Enjoy the game more now friends, with backing up and no shake. 8*)
