Logitech G920 not working - FIXED

Although the game is detecting the controller it changes back to Keyboard control everytime I leave the Settings screen. And although I can re-assign some of the functions, it seems erratic and sometimes doesn't register, particularly the pedals. In Advanced, none of the functions register using the test.

The wheel works normally with all other games, and tests fine in Devices & Printers. Windows 7. Anyone have any ideas? I've tried deleting the controllers file in the Steam App folder, no change.

UPDATE: I upgraded the G920 firmware to 96.3.49 and it works! Odd that I've had no issues with any other game, but there we are.

try clicking on unbind at the bottom of the controller page and rebinding the wheel only. This fix my issue which is similar to yours

i might be getting this wheel hopefully its easy to use and setup i never had a wheel in my life first time getting one soon

It worth the money to get to race with a wheel. :) Got my first wheel ( MOMO ) back in 2005 for Flatout 1. :)

But you do need to tweak in the advance controller settings to the wheel your using and how you like race with no assists.

Hopefully someone with G29 will post their settings. These the settings I use with my DFGT wheel with 240 degree rotation:
