The minimap would change all and remove a lot of suspense to the tracks. Like all good car games you need to know tracks on which you will run. The top is a server that offers 2x the same circuit in a row. A first time to warm up, a 2nd for all degummed once the track known.
Memory with training needs :D
this is a banger racer game, not grand turismo. you learn the track by crashing and driving out of bounds at full speed.
there is no feeling like going full speed in first person cam and have 0 idea when next turn is or how fast you can take it.
Thanks!
Honestly I consider this a minus. I'm hesitating to buy the game for several reasons and this is one of them. I wonder if it competes with Flatout 2 very well. But I could be wrong, tho. Please don't take my thought for it.
It's not just a matter of need really, but never mind.
Are those as effective and practical as a minimap? I still don't own the game and I'm checking things up first. With minimaps a quick millisecond glimpse or even a looking at it indirectly while your eyes are on the road tells everything one needs to now. I hope those do too.
I'll check videos on Youtube or something and see, I guess. Shareware and demo days, the good old days, are long gone, unfortunately. So far I can't tell if it competes with Flatout: 2 or UC. Please, Wreckfest, be the one, please!
It would take the unpredictable danger out of the game, when suddenly in a corner there is a car who has wrecked himself, or spinned, and you need to think fast to avoid crashing into him. Or, you could see when cars are coming into cross-section, and avoid nearly all collisions with map
The tracks are very easy to learn anyway, as they are fairly short and full of landmarks. You don't even need to stay on track completely, in many parts
That's another point, tho; tracks are fairly short. This is bad. Guess I'll just go back to the FlatOuts and skip this one. I heard the team behind the first two FlatOuts are behind this one too. I wonder why Wreckfest isn't as attractive as those two for me.
Got what I need. Thanks for the feedback, guys.
Ya if you looking more for a more arcade racing game with nitro like Flatout 2, Wreckfest is not it. But if want have some close racing or rough racing, you can find it online with Wreckfest:
