Would be amazing. Splitscreen mode has not been confirmed at this stage, but the game does at least have LAN support.

I think I would buy it, if they add a 2-4 player splitscreen mode. Without splitscreen mode maybe for less than 5 EURs in some years.

I am unsure if their plans for Wreckfest have been finalised.
A yes or no on splitscreen would be appreciated once they have confirmed their decision.

Since Bugbear doing console versions of Wreckfest, it was thought there be a chance to see splitscreen. But Wreckfest is demanding on the CPU and video card with 24 cars and soft body damage on one screen. What going happen when you try to do 24 cars x2 with splitscreen?

Consoles versions going struggle with 24 cars, maybe Bugbear would go with 12 cars for each screen if they were to do splitscreen?

If 1990s games like Mario Kart had split screen, moder games surely can. Just downgrade the graphics or something.

Yeah. Most I'll pay for this w/o splitscreen is probably $10. I own > 100 splitscreen steam games, so don't claim that splitscreen is dead.

I'm just here to check if this game has a splitscreen option before buying. Sadly it doesn't seems like, so I'll wait some more time. Hope it gets added at some point....

The best news that has been confirmed so far is big game optimisations are coming so at the very least system requirements will come down for setting up LAN multiplayer.
