T300RS Thrustmaster wheel clamp HACK

I broke my Thrustmaster wheel clamp the other day. I looked for it on the web and you can't buy it anywhere in Canada. They sell it in the UK and the USA but they won't ship it to Canada. I can't order it from anywhere I looked....This is very frustrating because i can't use my wheel without clamping it to my table firmly. The factory clamp is made out of plastic and I knew it would break someday with the abuse I would be giving it playing my driving games. Well I had an idea..... I had several steering wheel pullers in my garage and it looked like it could be used as a clamp for my Thrustmaster wheel. The puller is made out of aluminium. I removed the center bolt from the puller and put 2 nut and bolts with washers on the top of the puller for clamping under the table and used the Thrustmaster factory tee handled tightening bolt with large washers to fill in the gap needed for height adjustment. The wheel puller works (AWESOME) as a clamp and holds the Thrustmaster wheel to my table Very Firmly.....100 X better then the factory plastic clamp I got with the wheel. I can send pic's of my discovery to any one who needs help....Just give me your email address and I will send you pic's of the clamp holding my wheel to my table and some pic's of the clamp buy itself. If you have broken your clamp... These wheel pullers are real cheap at your closest car parts depot....Like Canadian Tire etc... This hack should work for other models as well.....Peace
