AI difficulty
Are you tried play on exper mode (AI) in career? I found it unbalanced, or I am bad driver. Some tracks are "easy" (or not make much problem to win) some are impossible for me. For example all track with asphalt. I have to play it as novice, if I want to be first.

Are you new to Wreckfest?

To win against Expert AI, need get to know the tracks and have a good car.

When i play on expert mode, i will set the number of laps more than 5.
So i have more time to win :)

Yeah doing career first is not the best way to go. You gotta learn the tracks and how to beat the AI before doing career. Not to mention the fact that you can get all the main cars and parts by doing custom events. Better vehicles and a better understanding of everything will make doing the career SO much easier.

The way the developer implemented their AI in this game is not like other racing game, you have to remember the AI is not here to win but to make you loose. It means that the AI has no issue completely destroying their race if they can crash you, and lapped traffic is absolutely obnoxious, which can make the game very frustrating at time. There is a lot of luck involved racing AI, which can be strange for a racing game.

I almost notice no difference in them. it seems to me they behave about the same. And the pay in custom is no different with hard or easier setting.

also AI cars go like on tracks. You cant pit maneuver them at all most of the time. And they can suddenly get huge turbo boost in middle of corner and smash in to you like you werent even there. You just fly off the track and get pissed.
Yeah. AI in this game is totally different than in other car games :D Super good example is this snow track event going on. AI drives like is summer for them while you spin crash run out of the track etc. constantly. Even with all assist FULL. Im used to drive all assist off so it get little easier but not much.

Racing the AI, stick to the inside line.

Career AI feels like it gives at least one or two cars an extra boost or something. I'll have custom events set up on expert A-class only where I run off and leave all the AI behind consistently, but in career the same track in the same car I'd wind up with a results screen with all the A class cars all over the place and even at the bottom, while the *one* car that out-drags me every straight even when they have what should be a bad turn is some Class-C ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Supreme; all the other cars will be like in custom events no matter what their rank is.

I've wanted to redo career now and then but then I remember this and decide it's not worth it.

Thanks all for response. I was thought, that AI have not a same "physics" as player and is "cheating". After I played last career tracks it was obvious. The AI is same or very similar to Flatout 2.
I think game should be fun (personally I don't like this AI) and such AI should be optional.
Flatout 1 had better AI and I am not sure if it had some cheating, but if yes, it was not so obvious as in Flatout 2 and Wreckfest.
