The G25 pedals and shifter are together as a standalone controller (with a kind of arduino).
And it works well!
I tried again today and got things working. I hadn't realised that each controller (or device) gets merged when playing the game. So the thing to remember is, that if your wheel and pedals show up as seperate devices then set them up as such. e.g. clear out the pedal bindings for the wheel (listed as Logitech G25 Racing Wheel USB for me). And for the seperate pedals (listed as Logitech® G25 Pedals for me), clear out any steering bindings and just setup the throttle brake and clutch. Also remember that "Advanced" only shows the calibrations etc for the selected device. So if you have the pedals selected, the steering won't work in the calibrations and vice versa. As I say, it is not until you race that the inputs from all the devices are used together if that makes sense. And don't worry that the clutch also gets highlighted when setting the bindings for each input. That made me suspect the game was broken and didn't like my setup first time. However, it didn't seem to make any difference.
Probably obvious to a lot of people, but it confused me and hopefully this might help somebody else.
i´m glad it worked, cheers ;)
