Season passes good for SP or MP only?

I just got the game and am enjoying it, but I'm wondering if the season passes are worth it at this point, and if so, are the cars only usable for the SP career stuff or only online MP? Thanks!

You can use them in any mode.

You can use dlc cars in the carreer yes, ofc they are still limited too like certain regions on some events along with performance needing too be within the event limitations like max c class etc...

Online if you aren't really a tryhard going for a 1st place but can settle for like 10th place or below you can run any car really imo as long as you got acceleration & can handle the car decently too keep up with people & dodge people trying too cornerbomb or spin you out or that are flying down the track backwards ofc.

If you are looking for a win as often as possible though on more clean servers the Starbeast SS, Super Venom, Rocket RX, Hunter Panther & more recently the Hammerhead RS.

(Best tournament cars atm is the Hammerhead RS next too the Super Venom 100%, specially fully tuned 0 armor or stock bumpers.)
(Which is free content in there included in the base game so no money involved there beyond base game.)

Along with Rusty Rats dlc which has the Raiden RS which is a real track machine along side the Stellar from Racing Heroes dlc I've seen catch wins often.
Along with the Sunrise Super which is a base game car, bit underestimated car that can be real quick with the right tuning & upgraded on performance.

Picked up all dlc + the game when it was on sale here Late December 2020 & imo well worth the price of 33€ total for the bundle at the time.

I love using the Vandal (Part of Rusty rats dlc so bonus right there.)
Fully maxed out on armor & performance + tuned for tallest gearing & lowest suspension, almost locked diff.
Makes it real fun too powerslide through most corners dropping a gear manually.
When it doesn't tumble over on itself or a curb at least.
Which with some practice on all tracks rarely happens going about things a bit more gently its not quite a race car but certainly can keep up with most of them depending on the track.
Now that i think about it i haven't tried the new rattlesnake raceway with it, job for tomorrow there heh.

It's main job ?
Smash into the busses (Mostly busses at least, sometimes cars too.)
Coming flying backwards or blocking the track.
It's at that point a 2.7 ton pile of bricks capable of 180+ km/h with a durability of 7.9
Bring it on!
I'm not in the Vandal too win or do quick laptimes but if it happens thats a bonus...
Spooked busses to dodge instead of smacking into me sometimes too ^^

Thanks for the detailed answer! It sounds like there's some value if I plan on doing online play, and it sounds like MP is healthy as well which is a good sign. I'll probably end up nabbing them then as the game is a blast.

You got your rough no rules servers and your semi-clean ( no backwards ) servers online. Get in a server with some good players, some great racing to be had online or some great chaos racing! :))

I am not a big fan of DLC in games
however I am happy I made an exception for this game
the season pass cars are fun, so I got both season passes
