You're ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ right it's borked, Bugbear better tone down with the supercars.
I can confidently beat Super Venoms, Raiden RS-s and others with my 281 Hammerhead RS. Stripping it is just overkill for me and it just removes all challenge from online lobbies, with the exception of another stripped Hammerhead RS driver who is just outright better.
The truth is that you will easily beat all YOUR previous laptimes with it.
Everybody were saying nothing for about a year about them adding previous clearly balance-breaking cars. Now they see no problem in continuing this practice. Moreover, the developers see adding imbalanced cars in tournament as a way to force players to come back to the game every day to grind tournament-mode what will increase in-game count.
Now I'm sure everybody enjoy their game with literally a single viable option to win.
I said it before, Super Venom should have stayed as the best car, because it at least had a few drawbacks, the insane wheelspin and wide body. The Hammerhead RS has a thin body and a lot more manageable wheelspin for like, a little bit less power? Hmm I wonder which car is better...
The point they make is just because someone isn't winning in it doesn't mean that it's not a fast vehicle
At best it was on pace with my old sv times, at worst 1.5sec slower(motorcity).
It's an unresponsive, under-steering pig that's kind of annoying to drive. If it had the agility of the sv I might entertain the idea that its "crazy op" but for now its just top-tier.
The problem stems from the fact that, yes, it's not as fast as the SV, but it's a lot more manageable and stable with very, veeery similar power performance. The straight line grip is phenomenal and it ain't too bad cornering, either.
Handbrake says hello.
