Yes a wheel is very nice, but if you can beat every car or bike game with keyboard?
Wheel is just to be sim a possible, or real a possible.
Key is a just the greatest controller, in means of big.
I cant see the same level of fun to be had using a row of keys used for typing.
No, its not. Keyboard is not only better than gamepads in 99% of the occasions, its also better in wreckfest. Unless you dont care about responsiveness and lousy lack of control over your vehicles.
However, jumping between KB and wheel you can tell there are some heavy assists in place to help the kb players control the vehicles, It become much more alive and detailed with a wheel. The cars would be quite uncontrollable with a KB if the game allowed the direct transfer of inputs, Instead its the most simplistic way to drive.
I had to reassign it because I kept hitting it during play/racing. That and the C key.
