How's the rocket RX?

Is it right up there with other tournament-won cars like the super venom and the hunter panther?

Idk why but the name rocket RX made me think it was an even faster version of the pocket rocket, i didn't expect an actual car.

its not as good as the sv by a long shot. way to much wheel spin. no grip in the tires. not going to be a very popular car. looks cool but thats about it

Aw that's a shame, is it even bad as a drift car? (Inner corners as tight as possible)

you can drift it. rear of car likes to come around very easy. i found it does better on all tarmac tracks. that are flat. but still have to be careful not to spin the car around. i did like it on espedalen. it can be pretty quick but is hard to handle.

its about 2 seconds slower than a venom on an 1 minute track..... i am pretty unsatisfied because i hoped for a better rocket and to be honest... both rockets have the same race pace... the normal one is underpowered with light drift mechanics while the rocket rx cant even get grip from the start and even in 4th gear no chance to get faster so his acceleration and turning is as same as the normal rocket

Personally I think its not fast enough to warrant a 100k fame points price tag, if it was 30 or 60k then that would of been ok.

I so agree with you. I just tried this car for the 1st time on a server and it's horrible. How can such a cool looking car handle so badly?

Two races just to make sure, I then switched to the Super Venom just to make sure it wasn't a lag or ping issue and NOPE, it really sucks. Impossible to control. Great looking car

That's a bummer lads, i kind of expected it to be superb considering it costs 100k in fame points.
Not that i want more overpowered cars like the raiden or the super venom, but it should at least perform better than it's predecessor imo.

Here's to hoping the devs buff it i guess?

The car keeps well on the asphalt surface with full armor. I would say that it is more efficient in this regard than other cars. Without armor, the car is less efficient, difficult to stop at high speed, inferior in handling and high-speed cornering. It is also the same lightweight rocket that can be deployed with one poke. The car is definitely fun to drive when you get the "less than god grip" under control, but it's only really viable in Multiplayer if everyone used the Rocket RX.

and it definitely feel sweet to take a corner perfectly in the Rocket RX because you know it's a lot harder to compared to a lot of other cars.

i would personally say it's worth spending the fame on, because fame is so easy to get (i have everything in the store and still have 400.000 fame to spare...) but it's by no means a good car and if you manage to win a multiplayer race with it it's because of your personal skill (or the lack there of from your opponents) and not because you used a good car.

my suggestion is fiddeling with the numbers and the armor to get in to down C class or B class.

OK after racing it for a while, and trying it in both "C" class and "B" class, I like it,
it has full visual upgrades, as well as performance upgrades, and does respond well to tuning, (raise the ride height from the stock lowest position, to plus one if you want it to handle better)
still 100k is a bit much, but its only faux $$$

Good, I've already thought I was just sucking at keeping it under control and having a hard time even reaching bronze in the tournament. Though I'm still curious how one can achieve 52 seconds.
