Plugin in a working calibrated controller (so that the x-axis is defined and at neutral position now) does not help either, any key that I try to rebind becomes "X-Axis +".
Speculation what went wrong in programming / interface design: Looks like the mouse input is considered the x-axis in the keyboard menu, and trying to rebind a key moves the mouse cursor to the corresponding screen position which in turns make the game think you moved the mouse (which you have not, but the game did it itself) so x-axis movement is detected and bound. Luckily, if also a keypress is present at that moment, it has priority so it jumps in front of the virtual mouse movement.
@Willibald: Don't work for me. I have found a another way with using the CSW 2.0 mode for my wheel.
