Can't change key binds.
Title.

Constantly decides to apply as X-Axis.

No gamepad and i can hold the mouse in mid air it still does it.

I think I found a workaround: Keep the key that you want to bind ALREADY PRESSED when you click what function you want to rebind. Backdraw is that you cannot bind keys anymore that have a function in the menus. For example, x and c cannot be bound anymore. Other than that, it seems to work.

Speculation what went wrong in programming / interface design: Looks like the mouse input is considered the x-axis in the keyboard menu, and trying to rebind a key moves the mouse cursor to the corresponding screen position which in turns make the game think you moved the mouse (which you have not, but the game did it itself) so x-axis movement is detected and bound. Luckily, if also a keypress is present at that moment, it has priority so it jumps in front of the virtual mouse movement.

Same problem here :(
Plugin in a working calibrated controller (so that the x-axis is defined and at neutral position now) does not help either, any key that I try to rebind becomes "X-Axis +".

I get the same problem with my Fanatec Clubsport V2.5 but not my Clubsport V2.0 or Xbox One controller.

I turned off my wireless mouse and then I could map all the controls.

I have same problem with Fanatec CSL Elite Base PS4. In PC Mode (red LED light on Base) the keybinding works but the settings will be not saved and will be reseted to default keybindings. But When I start my Wheel in CSW V2.0 Mode (press Mode key on the Base for 3 Seconds-> CSW 2.0 Mode with yellow LED on the Base), then the keybindig works fine and I can set and save my own keybindings without any problem.

@Willibald: Don't work for me. I have found a another way with using the CSW 2.0 mode for my wheel.
