OSW SimuCube wheel not centered
Hello,

I'm using an OSW SimuCube 20nm direct drive wheel and I cannot get the wheel to center correctly in Wreckfest. I've tried many combinations of wheel rotation settings, steering saturation settings, re-installed the game, etc. For the life of me I can't get the wheel to center and be playable.

Has anyone else run into this issue and able to assist me?

Thanks

You got any other USB devices plugged in that Wreckfest is seeing and maybe assigning steering too?

Nope, I've made sure SimuCube is the only steering device mapped in the game.

Regrettably we don't have SimuCube so we're unable to test ourselves.

What happens when the wheel is connected, does is center at all?

If I turn the wheel about 150 degrees it is centered in-game, but is not drive-able. I've tried re-centering the wheel to this position in SimuCube with no luck. Something seems to be wrong with the tracking of the wheel rotation. Are there any hidden settings I can adjust via config files?

Here's a video of what I'm seeing when testing steering: https://share.icloud.com/photos/0lOA96ACxv9BUDJwZkWXqR4fQ

Well, I'm happy to report that I got it working correctly. I formatted my SSD and did a fresh install of Windows (it was long overdue). After adjusting the steering sensitivity to 45%, my OSW is now 1:1 with the in-game wheel and centered correctly.

Good hear you got your wheel working properly. Wreckfest is a great game to use a wheel with. :))

That's great news, thanks for the heads-up.

Seems like a some sort of a driver issue.
