It would make sense if the Super Venom was set up in that same regard, with performance upgrades being an option while armor isn't modifiable.
It gets spun too easily because its light and tends to oversteer, but is too slow to get away from other A class cars before you get to any turns. First laps are a total lottery if you can make it to the 2nd with 20-30% health left.
It is fun to drive alone, otherwise you are just a sitting duck.

This thing is fun to drive, nice sideways cornering, but it's light and fragile (realistic damage) so most likely you'll be going through scenery, seriously damaged or dead.))
And I also agree that it should be upgradeable, it's a main feature of this game and it's pretty dumb if you cannot upgrade your vehicle.
I don't care that much about upgrade, but I can see the point where you would want to lower it to race in other class races. You got the car to show you got a reward, and want to use it.
Also I'd like to add drag races are a poor way to compare car performance on a game built around circuit racing.
It's not top tier however it is still without a doubt competitive.
Let the people know not to waste their time on this one
