Tournament Rewards in Jeopardy

I absolutely love the new tournament events, the competitive side of things and the rewards system.

But with good things, some people will want to ruin the experience for everyone else. We're talking about rewards for winners, rewards which won't be available later on, so naturally there will be cheaters getting on the top of the ladder.

Yeah, there are already blatant cheaters and those are easy to spot and eliminate. But what about those who cheat scores that look legit? The main problem here is the fact those people will remain on top unfairly while everyone else will miss out on points, therefore losing the chance to get those limited-edition items and vehicles.

We can't stop cheaters, they can make their highscores look legit. BUT there is a solution and it's quite simple... All the fame points should only be tied to fixed objectives, just like the dailies and weeklies. Sure, we're going to unfortunately lose the competitive side of things, but it's the only way to keep things fair for everyone.

I'm talking as a guy who managed to become top 3% by getting to 15th place out of 900+ players in one of the competitive events. Even I am fearing losing more spots because of these cheaters, let alone those who are less fortunate.

The fact that the fame cost for everything is so high that you can only get one reward (because let's face it, who's going to chose anything but the Doom Rig?) combined with the cheating kinda takes any excitement out of what should be a cool addition to the game :S

I've just now completed all 4 daily challenges with Gold and both the weekly & monthly challenges with Bronze and I only have 1,280 'fame'...

How am I supposed to reach the 20,000 needed for the 'Meat Grinder'?

Don't tell me I have to just keep replaying them over and over again?
Once was more than enough, I have two words for those challenges - Not Fun.

Wished we could at least grind it, at least we could fight to prevent missing out on items.

I will get the two skins because the Doom rig is just Big rig with skin, isnt it ? But yeah, sucks that you cant get the three rewards as of now.

Maybe there will be bigger daily rewards as the seaon comes to an end ?

Getting even bronze has become really hard in the online challenges... Honestly, after 10+ attempts on both, I gave up. Why the system is like this? (relative to earlier records?) The ones who completed them early, got it really easily. I didn't have time to test the update until now

Maybe I could make it to bronze if I wasted entire day trying, but it's not fun anymore. I have limited time for gaming, and used it up for today, without a single trophy (got the ones from dailies, but they don't give much points)

The ''King of Death'' is really easy, you just have to exploit it with constant restarts.Thats just bad design. Basically always keep your finger on the R button and restart after a hit. Im not very good at Derbies but Im currently 29th, and my run wasnt the best by any means. I could've Wrecked at least 3-4 more cars, if the RNG gods were on my side.

''Road Rage'' is very hard for me. I cant get the multiplier to stack cuz im missing cars. My best score is just 669.436 which suprisingly got on my first run I think. After than Im barely cracking the 500 000 mark.

Every mode is restart heavy apart from the races and you can use mods in tournie mode. The fact need a lot of fame to get these things that are luck dependant is sorta stupid. Grind resaults or not play online. Cheater gonna cheat i guess.

Top places in the leaderbord are now "invisible" if you are not close, or it's just me? I mean, I managed to get all gold and currently in silver on both the "long term" events, I don't think is impossible to get some rewards, but anyway... cheater must be banned.

Tournament mode with singleplayer challenges is totally fail. Can you add multiplayer battle pass like everywhere ?

There is no way anyone cheats in Wreckfest.
I know this because I was told that the physics and mechanics of this game are all server side, and that only a server that is modded for cheating could allow cheating.

To that I replied that it was just a matter of time that this game would be infected with cheaters, too.
Guess what?
It's time.
Covid and Wreckfest, both are viruses now.

I'm leaning towards thinking that Tournament rewards should be restricted to cosmetic items, rather than cars.

I don't mind the idea of having cars as a reward, and I like the idea about this Tournament.

But every reward requires too much points / Challenges don't give enough points.
Anche the challenges themselves are quite difficult, at least for me.
I can get Gold Trophies, but after 2 hours of tries

May the 3rd, cheaters are stronger than ever, Bugbear still doesn't give a f*ck.

I reported cheaters and they remain up there. Bugbear still hasn't dropped the percentile system that clearly only rewards cheaters.

If I lose my gold trophy on the weekly event, i'm giving up.


EDIT: Oh, and if they dare to answer with the typical "we're taking care of cheaters", here's my answer "make goals FIXED, don't make them dependant on leaderboards, cheaters can make scores look legit... LEARN!!!".
